Description

Each cover integrates a regulated heating system inside a tailored storage cover—available as a full-engine cover or a top-section mooring cover. Choose a 2-layer build for typical frosts (down to around −10 °C) or a 3-layer build with added thermal insulation for more severe climates. The system maintains a target internal temperature and includes safety cut-outs.

 

A model-specific heated cover that wraps the outboard and gently maintains warmth when the boat is off the water. It protects paint and decals like a normal storage cover, while the integrated heater helps prevent freeze-related issues during lay-ups and overnight frosts.

 

  • Our heated covers are made to order and to your specific requirements. The heating system is regulated to maintain a designated temperature and have thermal cut outs to protect from over heating.
  • We used a silicone heat pad that can be built to run on most voltages. We would not recommend using over 110V or 240V for safety reasons. If operating in extreme cold (less than -15 degrees) we can also supply Arctic rated cable and plugs.
  • Heated covers are supplied without any electrical connections (plugs). Plugs and transformers will have to be sourced locally and in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Configuration: Full (all-over) or Mooring (top-section) heated covers
  • Build options: 2-layer (~−10 °C) or 3-layer with added thermal insulation
  • Heating: Silicone heat pad, temperature-regulated with thermal cut-outs
  • Power: Built to your 110 V or 240 V supply; arctic-rated cable/plug options
  • Supply items: Shipped without plugs/transformers (source locally per regulations)
  • Fit note: Not available for some engines below 40 hp
  • Use case: Off-water only — do not run the engine with the heated cover fitted
