Flush Mate™ Outboard Flush Bags

Made from rip-stop fabric with all seams welded to make this bag waterproof.

Flush Mate™ outboard motor flush bags are for use on most outboard motors with standard legs (no extras added like fins). Please check your motor size as the motor hp below is only an indication.

DESCRIPTION

These bags are extremely durable with a soft lining, integrated retaining straps, a flap to allow carrying via the motor handle and external carry straps. They are also fitted with a breath vent to allow moisture to escape.

Please ensure you check the size of your motor against the dimensions shown on the specifications. Below are the internal measurements of the bags. Please check your motor will fit before ordering.

DIRECTIONS

Place the flush bag CAREFULLY under the skeg & then attach the “guide strap” which goes over the top of the cowling. Fill with water to cover over water intakes, start your motor and it will flush out salt. Obviously, you cannot put the motor into gear as the prop will cut the bag! You should never allow the “guide strap” to take the weight of the water as it could damage your cowling/outboard due to the weight of the water:- 1 gallon of water = 8.3 Pounds (roughly). Once flushing is complete undo the drain plug in the flush bag to empty the water out.

WARNING

Do not engage gear whilst engine leg is in flush bag. You can increase the revs if the motor is in neutral.
